II am Dominique Carden.

I have known ascents no one could have predicted.  

Fortunes that fell from the sky as quickly as they vanished.  

Journeys that overturned my life in a single night.

Seven times, I escaped death by a hair.  

I crossed storms at sea, courtrooms, and deserts.  

I lived in countries where you start over without knowing if you will survive the next day.

Synchronicity: coincidences that kill coincidences

I experienced encounters that lifted me to the top,  

and others that threw me into the abyss.

In the midst of chaos, I witnessed synchronicities so precise they seemed orchestrated by an invisible hand.

For a long time, I understood nothing.  

I believed I was moving at random, carried by luck or broken by fate.

Until the day that invisible hand revealed itself.  

That day, I understood I had to question everything I had been taught.

Our earthly life: a school

Behind the chaos of my trials, I discovered a structure. Like Carl Jung, 10 years of studying the I Ching allowed me to decode the synchronicities of my life. This book is the map I wish I had: an initiatory journey to see beyond the stage.

Furthermore, I do not write to explain or to justify. I write to pass on what I discovered while crossing my own ruins: that at the heart of chaos there is an order, at the heart of suffering there is meaning, and at the heart of every life there is a plan. Perhaps you will find in it an echo of your own path, hidden where you had never thought to look.

A path of rebirth

One day, the signs aligned.  

Coincidences stopped being coincidences.

I began to perceive a discreet but real thread,   connecting each fall to a rebirth,   each loss to a revelation.

This book is the first in which I tell that path.   It is not a novel.   It is a true story and an initiatory narrative.

I write to transmit

I do not write to explain.  

I do not write to justify.

I write to transmit what I discovered while walking through my own ruins:

that at the heart of chaos, there is order,

at the heart of suffering, there is meaning,

and at the heart of every life, there is a plan.
